LINDVALLEN
Ski Star Sälen’s largest downhill ski center with swiming hall, spa, movie theatre, bowling, food store and restaurants.
SÄLEN SNOWMOBILE SAFARI
Sälen offers 400 K of fine trails for snow mobiles.
The snow mobile takes you far into the wilderness, easily and fast.
Our closest neighbour, 7 kilometers from Sälengården is a private owned ski resort with 34 slopes from black to green and 37 K cross country trails.
Olnispagården is the homestead museum of our parish and a place for events such as the traditional Midsummer celebration.
The museum also is an exhibition of ancient buildings, culture furniture, handicraft and literature.
Take a walk across the suspension bridge from Sälen village to the museum and enjoy the flatbread and a coffee at the museum!

If you want to experience the mountains in a very exiting way we recommend riding the dogteam sleds you can rent at Fjälläventyr.
Why not rent a furry friend for your hiking? Rent a husky for a day!

You don’t have to ski Vasaloppet to be part of an adventure.
Watching 16 000 skiers heading for Mora, 90 kilomters away, is a real happening!
You easily walk from Sälengården to the start
Don’t forget that your furry friend also is on vacation!
Furthest north in Sälen village, by the northern bridge you find a very nice pet shop.

A small shopping mall in the center of Sälen village. Shops, dentist, pharmacy, library and Systembolaget the only place in Sweden you can buy alcohol.
Across the street from Sälengallerian there are fishing center, food stores, pizzeria etc.
